Jon and Amy's wedding in Chicago was a blast! Jeray did Amy's sister's wedding a few years ago and they hired her as the primary. Since Jeray's husband Matt, who usually seconds for her, is in the police acadamy, I've been having so much fun filling in for him. Amy and Jon are such a cute couple. They were so excited that we had come "all the way from California" and even invited us to the rehersal dinner (which was delicious, btw). We felt so welcomed and I loved watching her family interact with each other. Her sisters were so alike, they said exactly the same thing at the same time over and over...lol. It was obvious that their families loved them both and wished them long lasting happiness.
Chicago was amazing! It rained the day we flew in but on Amy and Jon's wedding day, it was beautifully overcast. They live up against the forest and a wide open field which was postivily delicious. I thought all this couldn't be topped until Jon mentioned he had a Harley. Oooooh! So much fun! And Amy was up for anything!
Their wedding and reception were at equally amazing venues and I'm positive that all the venues in Chicago are ten times more amazing than here...lol.
I'm so happy for you both and I wish you the best! Thanks for being so wonderful!
I had a love affair with these shoes!
Jon bought her dress and proposed with it instead of a ring....so sweet!
The beautiful Amy:
Totally impromptu! She was so excited to be getting married.
"He's so hot!" -Amy
Their first glimpse was sooo special. They both couldn't hold back the tears.
The field. Ah, I love these!
I had to sneak a ring shot in there of course.
Enter: The Harley.
I'm usually in charge of the guys. (Girls, you're going to have to wait for Jeray, but I'm sure they're amazing!)
I got battle wounds for this one...not too bad though..lol.
Amy and her mom:
Amy's niece was so cute! I could have taken pictures of her all day!
Her sister has a beautiful voice:
Just enough rain for this shot:
such a fun limo shot:
The BEST dancing grandma....EVER.
Dad saying a few words about raising three daughters and a son...I could use the advice..lol.
Jon and his new niece. She already knows what women do when they get to the reception: get comfy feet!
